Cubicle Decor

For only being at my current company for two and half years, I have definitely moved cubicles a lot.  The space I have currently been occupying since May has a ton more wall space than the others.  So much wall space, that it is terribly boring to see every day.  I did a little cubicle decor and plan to do more but here’s what I have done so far!

Honeycomb wall of motivation

Remember when I said a new coffee shop opened in our town?  Well that coffee shop’s bar has this beautiful honeycomb tile on the front and it was love at first site.  I recreated that on one wall with some colors that compliment our office decor colors, and threw in some motivational quotes as well.

A coworker of mine decorates the outside section of her space seasonally with different things.  This summer she put up different colored sunflowers.  Her’s were much bigger silk flowers so she pinned the petals down but the idea inspired me.  I remember some fake flower petals easily come off the stems and are left with a hole in the center.  I already had some gold tacks and so I bought these cherry blossoms at the dollar store.  While pulling petals, I felt a little like “he loves me, he loves me not.”  ?

Well, there you have it.  I have a few more cubicle decor ideas to spruce up the space but is slowly feeling a little more special and less of a drag.  And if you’re curious where my computer is or how boring the space looked before, scroll on…
