My name is Leah and I suffer from short eyelashes. Like insanely short. As in my top lashes are as long as my bottom lashes. But in the last few months I’ve changed all that. I have long lashes and I didn’t need a prescription to get it! For the past three months I have been using GrandeLash-MD Lash Enhancing Serum and I am completely blown away that it actually works.
Eyelashes have always been my beauty obsession. I don’t do lipstick. Couldn’t care less about eyebrows. But long, curled lashes have been what I coveted most. In fact, I’m pretty sure I tried every mascara that existed during my high school career. My lashes were short, but every day I curled them and coated them with my fave mascara of the moment. Everything else was an afterthought.
I’ve tried glue-on fake lashes, but I found them to be way too long for my bone structure. I contemplated having a professional do fake lashes, but I don’t like how over the top and unrealistic they look. I even googled how to get a prescription for Latisse. But I also was curious about other eyelash serums that had promising reviews, were cheaper, and no prescription required.
When I had my annual eye exam in July, I decided to ask my optometrist her opinion. She told me the active ingredient to look for is prostaglandin. That active ingredient is also the one that can darken the irises of your eyes. Luckily, I already have super dark eyes so I didn’t have any concerns.
My results with GrandeLash
After some research, I narrowed it down to three brands I was considering and ended up purchasing GrandeLash. Even with my eye doctor saying prostaglandin would work, I still was skeptical. So skeptical that I kept pushing off taking a before photo. And then about 4 weeks in, I was rubbing my eyes and my lashes felt thicker. A week after, I was putting mascara on and could have sworn they were longer! Luckily, I found this picture from our wedding day that shows how short my lashes naturally are.
It’s been a little over 12 weeks and I am absolutely amazed at how long my lashes are! I really notice how thick they are when I curl them. And instead of multiple coats of mascara, I stick to one swipe now. I can even feel the tips of the lashes hitting under my brow bone sometimes.
How I use GrandeLash
After washing my face but before going to bed, I swipe GrandeLash on my lash line almost like I’m applying a liquid eyeliner. I coat both lashes with just one dip from the serum – a little bit goes a long way. I’ve purchased my second 3-month supply now and plan to be a customer for life. The price is pretty great too. GrandeLash often runs sales so you can get it for under $20 a month – so much cheaper than Latisse! Their website does have a page on counterfeit products so I would highly recommend purchasing directly from them or from the authentic retailers they list on that page.
Just think, if you start now you’ll have longer lashes to bat goodbye to this year. And both parts of that sentence are equally exciting 🙂
