How to Use a Salad Spinner Plus Salad Dressing Recipe

We are big fans of salads.  Side salads, main course salads, all of the above.  Leafy greens?  Yes, please!  But no one wants soggy leafy greens or their romaine looking brown.  And making sure it’s nice and clean before eating is important.  One of my favorite wedding registry items was my salad spinner.  It is almost always in our fridge with nice clean, green leaves.  I think a lot of people don’t have them because they’re not sure how they work.  Below I share how to use one and a favorite salad dressing recipe of mine!

DIY Floating Frame for Vinyl Decals

Sometimes you DIY because no one makes what you want.  And sometimes you DIY because it’s more affordable.  Then other times, it’s a combination of both, like this DIY floating frame for vinyl decals.  I could not find a floating frame the right size for my laundry room decal and I really didn’t want to pay for a custom one.  So I took a frame my mom no longer wanted and made it into a floating frame easily and wallet friendly!

What I Learned Reading 2 NY Times Bestsellers

I don’t typically gravitate towards nonfiction.  I don’t dislike it, I just tend to read before bed and want the grown up version of a nice bedtime story.  When I found out I was having hip surgery, I started making a list of all the nonfiction books I’ve always been curious about.  Out of curiosity, I read The Life-Changing magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo since you can’t read any organizing tips without the book being referenced.  After being convinced by many coworkers, I decided to also pick up Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis.  Surprisingly, both books brought peace to my life that I didn’t know was missing.  Read on to find out how!
