Mini Wreath Centerpiece Multiple Ways

While getting fabric at Joann’s for the tissue holders I made, I checked out the floral department too.  They have the cutest little wreaths!  I had never really seen a mini wreath but they just called to me and I had to get one.  I picked up this little eucalyptus wreath thinking it was both Spring-y and neutral.  When I got home, I had a vague idea of using it as a centerpiece.  But after an hour, I ended up with multiple ideas!  Here are my favorites to take you from St Patrick’s Day to Easter to Spring.

DIY Tissue Holder

You know that saying that your crazy is showing?  I feel like my old lady is showing with this DIY.  But cold season is still present and allergies are right around the corner.  Who doesn’t need some tissues on hand?  Have you ever purchased those little plastic packs of tissues?  They always just seem so wasteful when chances are you have a perfectly good box full of them.  But then have you ever had tissues in your purse or pocket and they don’t seem so sanitary when you need to use one?  I decided to make my own DIY tissue holder that can be refilled as often as needed.  Keeps the tissues clean in your purse and it’s quiet so no one will here you reaching for one!

Emily Ley Book Reviews

I first discovered Emily Ley when I purchased one of her planners for 2019.  The planner was simple but had everything needed.  It even had little tips every month to declutter or simplify my life.  I then discovered she had a website with lots of free printables and a blog that talked about all sorts of organizing and simplifying.  When her third book released last November, I pre-ordered it and also purchased her second book too.  A Simplified Life and When Less Becomes More are two books that I highly recommend if you feel like life is busier than it should be.  You know that feeling that you’re running around like a chicken with your head cut off but have no time to do anything about it?  These are the books for you.

Basement and Life Updates

It has been quite the week since I posted last!  Things are coming along with the basement.  Who knew a little flooring and an accent wall would make such a big difference?!  We also have discovered a new favorite drink for keeping a cold away.  Landon found some sheds behind our house.  And I have been feeling great and have been able to run quite a bit over the last two weeks!  Read on for all the details and some work-in-progress pics.

Braided Felt Garland

Who says garland is only for Christmas?  Lately I’ve felt like sprucing up a few spots in my home and decided a felt garland would do just that.  So I made this super easy braided felt garland.  It’s quick, easy, versatile, and can fit any home.  It also would be a great project for a beginner sewer – it’s all straight lines but doesn’t need to be perfect to still look good!

Products for Thin and/or Thinning Hair

Do you have thin or thinning hair?  Are you struggling to find products to “fix” your thin hair?  Let me tell ya, I know exactly how you feel!  Between the iron issues, and other health things, my hair is nothing like it used to be.  Growing up it was a pretty decent medium-thick with some wiry strands.  Now, each strand is super fine and just hangs there.  I also went through a spell where I was definitely losing more than 100 strands a day (100 is normal, by the way).  Here are the products I swear by to help with hair loss and give thin hair a little more oomph!
